If many fans think Jose is destined/more suited to be a backup point guard because he makes plays for the second unit why trade him?
You think Turk, Jack can help the 2nd unit?
Jack struggled in the second unit when Jose is healthy. Turk never plays with the second unit at a consistent rate.
As for Caron Butler, he is getting older, he isn't the guy who consistently put 20 pts per game, he is out of shape at the moment which in result makes him slower and this year his FG% went down.
But i rather have Caron Butler and Turk trade any day.... because Caron Butler is a good perimeter defense. If turk is traded we can make Butler at SF and Derozan at SG so Derozan can developed.
Apollo you mention teams that are in the post season tend to win due to defense....your right but individual defense is not a huge cause comparing to the overall defense of the whole team. Raptors aren't a good man-to-man defenders (except for Bargnani ...in some occasion)
Look at Nelson, Fisher, Steve Nash they aren't good defenders... but they have their teammate to mask/hide their weakness
