Knowing the NBA and how the lotto works, the Knicks are probably gonna get the first overall pick. They're gonna draft Jahlil Okafor and try to get a free agent like Milsap or Monroe. Then you would have a lineup of Calderon, Hardaway Jr., Melo, Milsap/Monroe, and Okafor. At least I think that's their plan lol

Blacklash2k4 wrote: View PostThat's true. It's hard to see Millsap leaving Atlanta for the trash heap that is New York, but money talks. I mean the tune of $124 million got Melo to stay in the trash heap that is New York when could have gone to Chicago or Houston lol.

Depends on how committed to the triangle they are since a 2 guard backcourt wouldn't work in a triangle, especially with a non-shooter. 2 guards + Melo + a high draft pick big
Harris could work just fine. Both guys being midrange is a dramatic oversimplification. Both are scoring threats from pretty much anywhere on the court. And it's not like having versatile, multiposition players is bad for the triangle. In fact, having overlapping skills can make things easier.
*Harris is RFA, but will Orlando match a max offer, which he very well could get? I wouldn't say it's a sure thing. Orlando has proven nothing, have a very young team, and thus aren't exactly in the best position to start giving out max contracts.Last edited by white men can't jump; Mon Jan 5, 2015, 11:57 PM.
