The season ends pretty much as it started..... Red States and Blue States...

There are a solid group of folks who didn't think this iteration of the Raps would be any good to start the year and despite a 59 win season and landing the first seed continue their belief that the team still isn't very good and will lose in the playoffs so they can say I told you so....

An an equally solid group of folks who thinks they are on balance good enough to get to the NBA finals and have shown they can play with anyone ....

Well its over. The regular season came to a close last night in South Beach with the Raps losing a meaningless game in overtime .It meant nothing to the Raptors as winning or losing that game changed nothing for them.

And what a season it was. There was something for everyone.

The predicted concerns over the Raptors depth were borne out. The largely young sophomores shit the bed out of the gate and tailed off from there. Poetl is soft and can't defend or score, Wright can’t shoot and can't run the offence and he is just to old at 24. Siakam is worse than Wright at shooting, has no bball IQ and can't defend a chair. That stiff Fred is to small to play and should be cut cried the Republican guard. You guys nailed it.

The Chowderheads are unstoppable. They are going to run away with the division unopposed such is the depth and talent and outright pluckiness of the Greenies. Such was the power of the Chowderheads they avoided injury to their key players that haunt every team. The Raps suck canal water and won't be close. Again you guys nailed it.

The Raptors seniors and best two players, Kyle and Demar, proved to be totally unprofessional this year and were unable to adapt to a new offensive scheme laid out by their country bumpkin coach. How that man Casey who is as an abrasive unlikeable, dumbass coach who must have paid people to be even mentioned in the COY discussion has managed to hold on to his job is indeed a mystery. The playoffs will seal his fate. Like his two players that he looks to to lead the team he too won’t be able to adapt. Damn that was Prescient thinking.

The playoffs start with the Raptors staring up at a hell of mountain. The team coming in has an innate advantage as they have been playing possum with their true abilities over the 82 game schedule. Using a season long rope a dope strategy they hatched in September for this very purpose the Wiz let the Raps open up a 16 game gap between the teams. To further lull the Raps to sleep they have lost 13 of their last 20 to cement their position and continue to taser the raps chances. Those putz’s in the North are screwed.

So in losing that last meaningless game in Miami the Raps destiny has been sealed. The Raps who have little to no chemistry as a team will face a well oiled and happy with each other team. Marcin Gortat made John Wall godfather to his first child. Brad Beal and John Wall bought a time share together so they can spend even more time together that they publicly treasure. The call from the stands is a Wiz sweep. That is Tyler Hansbrough, Chuck Hayes, Patrick Patterson, Landry Fields, Greg Stiesma , Grevious Vazquez and Lou Williams in total disguise wearing the Raps uni's and suiting up for the Raps....so those comparisons to three years ago are still valid. Given the mountain of evidence .. it’s a foregone conclusion.
