Waiters is terrible. Not sure what statistical approach they are using, but it's the wrong one. Both WS and WP place him as one of the worst SG's in the league, and even xRAPM has him barely a positive impact player.

Whatever.
With Lowry getting an AS snub last year and DeRozan not even making the top 10 in SGs (despite being named an all-star) there should be lots of fuel to drive motivation this season.... .hopefully both players don't put their own snubs above team success.

This is what they said about Waiters
Waiters is combined minus-0.4 WARP during his first two NBA seasons, so the system might be a little optimistic with this forecast. What the metrics might be missing is the intrinsic value of Waiters' ability to create offense. Despite a well-bellow-average true shooting percentage, Waiters offensive RPM has been positive in both his seasons and reached plus-1.8 last year. If the optimism of his forecast proves to be warranted, its a scary proposition for rest of the NBA. Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving clocked in at No. 5 in our rankings yesterday. It's probably not spoiling anything to tell you that James and Kevin Love will rate very high at their respective positions as well. If Waiters really develops into a top-five shooting guard, that will be something to see.Last edited by MixxAOR; Wed Aug 20, 2014, 11:20 AM.Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

this is wrong on so many accounts, that I feel this weird sense of comfort that DeMar isn't even in their top 15, lol

Where was Lowry on their point guard list?
It's sort of crazy that DeMar wouldn't be in the top half of the league in terms of shooting guards, especially with how shallow the shooting guard field is right now.
But yeah, this list is insane. Victor Oladipo at 7? Dion Waiters in the top 5? I wouldn't take any comfort in being similar minded to this list, OSK.That is a normal collar. Move on, find a new slant.

I'm not a demar fan or detractor at this point but to notake top 15 seems a bit sketchy.
Well he'll have lots of opportunity once again this year.
As long as he keeps improving I hope the media continues to give him the shaft! Fuel for the fire!
