NBA.com power rankings:
That could allow for the return of DeMar DeRozan, which will help us determine just how important he is to his team's defense. What was a top-10 defense last year and at the time of his injury has somehow fallen into the bottom 10 since.
Bottom 10 since the injury? that is unbelievable.Mamba Mentality

According to DeMar, he won't be back for another 7 practices. That would be the 14th against Philly or the 16th against the Hawks. Be nice to see him come back for the Philly game to shake the rust off, then be in form for Atlanta.

DeMar has one skill our team sorely needs and that is fearlessly and effectively attacking the basket, though keep in mind TS% includes free throws. BTW I think he is an underrated defender on our team; doesn't have lateral quickness but does more good rotations than a lot of our other guys. Defence has nothing to do with the All Star game though or else Draymond Green should be a starter. If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

TS% list for DD? Really? Is anyone actually unaware that the primary gripe with DeMar's game is the questionable efficiency of his shot selection? It's like pointing out that water is wet."We're playing in a building." -- Kawhi Leonard

3inthekeon wrote: View PostThen why exactly are people saying he should he be an all star this year?
The arguments for him not making it would be that he's missed too much time, and that he was a borderline All-Star last year who may have been leapfrogged by guys like Jimmy Butler. That his TS% dropped from 0.532 last season to 0.494 in the first couple months of this season is hardly enough of a reason to decide someone's not an All-Star anymore."We're playing in a building." -- Kawhi Leonard
