Beautiful
He should be telling that to Ed even more than Demar...
Lietuvos Rytas bounced back from the loss against Lokomotiv-Kuban in Eurocup on Tuesday and defeated the Russian side 84-63 (15-18, 25-7, 25-23, 19-15) in the VTB League, in the second meeting between the two teams in five days.

The win allowed the Lithuanian team (8-5) to pull away from Lokomotiv in the VTB League standings, moving up to the third place in Group B behind CSKA and Spartak, while the Russians are fourth with a 7-6 record.
Renaldas Seibutis led the home side with 19 points, Aleksandar Rasic scored 17, while Jonas Valanciunas managed to collect a big double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, despite going only 9-of-14 from the free-throw line.
For Lokomotiv, Sergey Bykov had 14 points, Jeremiah Massey scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Ali Traore got into early foul trouble, but still had a productive game with 11 points.
If you are a Raptors fan and a JV fan (and who isn't? haha) you might have some work to do to top these guys in their love for the young Lithuanian (and basketball in general!):
His team won important road game vs Benetton Treviso from Italy. This win let them advance to Eurocup playoffs.
They will face in quarterfinals BC Donetsk from Ukraine. Two games will be played (20th and 27th March) one home one road. Scoring difference is important, if both teams takes one win.
that is an awesome tattoo. great that bigVal is helping him out too. He is even on the same side as Jesus with almost the same amount of space. Not bad billing
Valanciunas has been performing at a very high level this year in Europe. If he was in the 2012 NBA draft, where would he be picked?
Chad Ford**(1:43 PM)
I think he'd be the No. 2 pick hands down. Looks like the Raptors got a steal at No. 5 last year.

Some props from Chad Ford!
Encouraging to read for sure, but we might have to wait until March Madness is over before claiming ourselves victors. We no doubt got a very solid player in Valanciunas, but a lot can happen between now and the national championship game.
Kind of like when Melo dropped in out of nowhere to lead Syracuse to a title. Going into the tourney, he was barely in top 10 in most mock drafts. Derrick Williams rose very quickly towards the end of last year too.
