I am not sure there has been any feedback on the following idea but I'll put it out there again:

For free agents and years are we good with the hard deadline of September 1st?

In other words if you don't declare your two resigns and one possible DPE, they go into the free agency auction.

If you declare but give no years it is assumed one year resign.
