Woah what a surprise come back! I was down 7-2 going into the weekend games, and was down in man games too. Jalen Brunson had a 60 point game. I thought my season was going to end for sure.
There were 7 cats up for grabs on Sunday. I think only FG% and 3pt were out of hand. DeMar and my two Warrior rookies were my only hope. And then when those games were over it was all up to Keyonte George. He got 18, and was 7/7 from the line. But only had 2 boards (needed at least 5). And also got 2 turnovers. That was enough to get me the win.
James Ballswin (Realizar) you have a really good team. Brunson is that guy. Wish you luck next year. Feels great to get that one back from the defeat last year. Go get that bronze medal

planetmars Thanks for the strong competition. I didn’t win rebounds and blocks, and thus didn’t deserve to advance. Best of luck in the Finals - I’m rooting for you.
Axel As for you, may the best team win. Good luck.RR OG

Health has been a big issue this week for my squad. Kawhi decided to deal with some knee issue which sucks. When I made that trade in the offseason I knew this could be an issue. Yet I don't regret it since I moved him for IQ who's been away for awhile too (likely wouldn't have even gotten to the finals with him on the roster). But, a few of my guys are just taking random days off too. Tobias Harris and Grayson Allen yesterday. Nurkic is now questionable too for some reason. I'm not completely out but it feels like a bit of a hail mary situation for my club.
Was down 2-7 going into the weekend in the semi's. Now 2-6 in the finals. So not complete out. But my team is going to need a lot of testicular fortitude to get through this final matchup.

Crazier things have happened, but looks pretty locked in for Coach.
Speaking of crazy .. Coach has never finished in the Top 3 for a season, and is now looking like the 2024 Champion.
No favourites, but would love to see one of the league OG members get a ring.
That said, after only a few years, and no disrespect to Demo or Kage, but Mars has been one of the finest new additions to the League ownership we have ever had. The impact Mars has had in such a short amount of time on his team, and the league, is pretty remarkable. And that's a team that is built to compete for the foreseeable future.
Either way, you're both winners in my books.

As I said on the Yahoo chat... been in this for a long time... pretty sure I am one of the OG's and I've had some good regular seasons but always faded early in the playoffs. Only had 1 2024 All-star on my roster (hope this brings some respect to Durant), so it was a complete team effort. I don't think there's been a back-to-back champion and so we're hoping to "run it back" in 2025!!
Tried to attach a pic from the championship parade in downtown Red Deer, Alberta today but apparently I don't know how to do that. (database error??)
PS - Added Lowry on the last day, which he ended up sitting, but just had to get him another ring.“Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”

You absolutely are an OG, but DanH was the first back-to-back .. soooo ... you're gonna have to three-peat if you want any sort of real legacy.“Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”
