Ok, so, I need versatility, defence and athleticism. I changed my pick over the last two days a bunch of times.
There are more prolific scorers, but I need this guy. Ladies and gentleman, you are now caught in The Matrix.
Shawn Marion! Book it.

The guy I had slotted Saturday was lights out scoring. So tempting but I already have enough offensive power. Marion can do enough on offense and has always been a good complementary off the ball player

Going to be interested to see who Dan pegs as his starting PG. had Billips in mind but now I'm thinking Rondo (to go with his all defence line up).Heir, Prince of Cambridge

The Matrix and other things
I might have been able to get Marion in the next round but the way this draft is going he might have went in the next couple picks. Marion was the perfect compliment. He could do so much, but reigned it in and played the role his coaches wanted him to play on defense, on the glass, in the open court, in the paint, from long range, you name it. A very underrated player who deserved to win multiple defensive awards. I think he was snubbed because he played on those Suns teams who gave up a lot of points despite his great defensive play. I think he'll land in the hall of fame, perhaps first ballot:
- 2011 World Champion
- 19th all time in steals
- 24th all time in defensive boards
- 27th all time in defensive win share
- 52nd all time in blocks
- 75th all time in scoring

Well, if you can't get the 5 time all star, two time all-defence second team PG off the flukey Pistons, might as well grab the 6 time all star, four time all-defence first team combo guard off the bad boy Pistons.
Joe Dumars.

With my 6th pick, thrilled to add a player who is a champion level performer. He can play on ball, off ball, shoot, pass and defend. The 6'6" winger has always done what's best for the team and shown up as clutch, as evidenced by his career playoff averages being better than regular season. The 4 time NBA Champion, the Latino Lefty is in the house!!
