Don't forget that a trade for THJr. for any 1 year deal works out to be the same as if you add/drop for number of years to your cap hit.

PLUS! you get a player added to your roster for next season which means one less roster spot to fill in FA (in what appears to be an awful free agent class) making you more competitive during the auction.
