Whats up with that? Ali was his only competition .. he was basically a shoe in after everything that went down ... Couldn't possibly have bribed Ali in the midst of all these Bribe allegations ... could he?! Lol
I'm pretty sure he withdrew from the election because of 1st round results. He lost 1st round 133 votes to 73.

Ridiculous. Makes me hate Soccer and FIFA even more. Given the perfect opportunity to clean itself up and its just going to rearrange the deck chairs.

Who the fuck is voting for this guy?!

To be honest, vote was actually closer than I expected for "indirectly" rigged election. Let's just put it this way.. if Blatter goes down, some people and organisations wouldn't enjoy the benefits they enjoy today. So Blatter will always get a vote from these organisations and people. You see, these days.. CHANGE = FEAR.

        • Exactly. Blatter fattened up all these guys so they wouldn't dare turn their back now... so they voted for him again.

What a joke. Any other commissioner would have been asked to step down if this was happening under their watch. Not get re-elected 4 fucking days later lol

Blatter must be a secret FBI informant.

There's a reason why all these international organization from the UN on down to these sports bodies are all corrupt: cause they are largely made up of people from cultures where corruption is a way of life. In most of South America, Africa, South Asia, Middle East, Southern and Eastern Europe, this is simply the way things are done.

As for all these deaths, the Qataris don't give a shit. These workers lives are worth less to them than their pet sharks and lions. Life is cheap over there as it is in most parts of the world. All these morons over here with their "trigger warnings", "micro-aggressions" and other such nonsense - they have no clue what real social ills look like.
