Just clicked on this thread to see the carnage.... few thoughts:
1. I have no problem with the Jays rebuilding. The problem to my mind was that this management team was brought in, didn't believe in the team, but both them and ownership refused to blow it up cause they wanted that sweet, sweet ticket money. Fine. But not having the courage of their convictions left the team in limbo for two years.... and now the rebuild is even longer.
2. Following from #1, they got nothing, zilch, nada for a laundry list of players. That's fine to me if you're a legit playoff contender going for one last gasp and it doesn't work out but they weren't.
3. Has any player leaving Toronto had anything good to say about the new management team or ownership? That can't be good.
