Build treatment centers. Train under qualified doctors/nurses. I doubt they'll provide direct care to Ebola patients. Most likely they will be relief effort coordinators, I just wonder what will Obama do in case of breakdown of civil society.Last edited by rocwell; Thu Sep 18, 2014, 09:16 PM.

In my opinion, U.S. military action in Africa will be all about capacity building and logistics - not sure how much this will help though.
Also, 2-star General was named to lead fight against Ebola. He's a logistics specialist.

Interesting fact: Patient arrived in the Merica on 9/20 and has been hospitalized 8 days later on 9/28.

Just saw British news.. they say that Ebola patient may have traveled via Heathrow airport. It means he spent some time in London, UK.
They also said that patient was misdiagnosed on 9/26 and sent home with antibiotics.
Few news sites say that as many as 12 Americans may have become infected.
EDIT: Number has changed to 18 Americans.Last edited by rocwell; Wed Oct 1, 2014, 03:17 PM.

We may have a terrifying mess on our hands in North America in about two to three weeks.

University of Minnesota thinks this strain of Ebola is airborne:
We believe there is scientific and epidemiologic evidence that Ebola virus has the potential to be transmitted via infectious aerosol particles both near and at a distance from infected patients
