nobody views this thread other than to post a video that no one ends up listening to.If Your Uncle Jack Helped You Off An Elephant, Would You Help Your Uncle Jack Off An Elephant?
Sometimes, I like to buy a book on CD and listen to it, while reading music.

Ahh man I went to the Skrillex concert and it was just straight dopeness! Never been to anything like it.
Soft Euro I got you to thank for putting me on to such great music. ***thumbs up***
Been listening to some dirty ass pornstep lately. And Skrillex's remix to "Levels".

I really dislike those two songs. I realize that everyone has different tastes in music, but I got an instant headache listening to that and I think my frontal lobe shrunk 2%. However, that probably makes me old, and this music(?) cool.Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Lately, i've been digging through my old tunes and listening to stuff from my early days... specifically, two albums.. Midnight Marauders by ATCQ and Enter the 36 Chambers by Wutang....
and while listening to them.... i did some random googling, as i tend to do about literally every little mundane thing in life...
did not realize they came out the exact same day... Nov 9th, 1993
and then i realized that there is not a single album that came out after that day that is anywhere near as good as those two albums.... sure there were some really good albums, but Midnight Marauders & 36 Chambers weren't just good... they were GREAT..
So ya... Nov 9th, 1993.... i think i've pinpointed the date of hip hop's climax.... it's been downhill ever since

i love Biggie as much as the next guy... but his ascension opened the door for Puffy to usher in the new era of hip hop... where the commercial hip hop became even more commercial... and the backpacker hip hop got stuck even deeper in the backpack... under a month old bologne sandwich you forgot was in there....
the middleground of "just great music" quietly took a backseat

Biggie was not the downfall of hip hop...Puffy and his shiny ass suit pants were the downfall. Puffy killed good hip hop.
And yes 36 Chambers is an absolut classic!
