Toronto has had a bottom 5-ish front office over the last 4 years. They've missed on almost everything. I don't get the logic of giving Masai and Bobby a pass because they hit leading up to the championship. Their decisions over the last 3-4 years could end up hamstringing this franchise over the next 2-3 years.

That’s why I said almost everything. They followed their one good move up by not properly evaluating their team, not reading tea leaves on upcoming free agents and not building a team that can synergize with the rookie of the year.

Great call but scottie was projected a pick or two after suggs and apparently suggs couldnt hit the side of a barn in his tryout. Suggs was bricking so bad they told him to take a break. Watched this team since day one and since the loss to boston in the playoffs its been the worst most frustrating stretch ever. Well ok right up there with the post vince era. But even then we bottomed out for a couple years then gradual improved

It’s context dependent and there’s definitely a grace period to reset things. But if after 5 years no one can even tell what you are doing and nothing makes sense and there’s been a series of errors, then you’re running out of time.

Scotty was just a slightly different top 5 to what most had.
