In 5 less minutes, he hit more threes, scored more points, and rebounded about the same. He's slightly better than batum

Batum can pass and handle the ball well for a SF. Carroll is a better defender and plays with much more energy, Batum can be soft and coast sometimes.

Batum had a pretty bad season, but he'll likely recover. I'd say they are about on the same level, but they bring different things.

I think a Mathews 4 year deal opens a demar trade later. Don't think I like the main page idea of Lowry, demar, Mathews and Carroll on the floor at one time

I think Dominique Wilkins did. But few do. I wouldn't be comfortable with that signing, unless it's short and not expensive...

Not too bad of an idea, Wes Matthews was practically a 3 anyway most of the time for many years. With Achilles injury, you have to think he'll be even less of a 2. The question is how expensive would that all be.
