If Toupane is signed, does this mean that we could be seeing a trade? I mean, Powell is showing up and proving himself.... and Toupane plays SG.

I think Ross is gonzo, guys. Ross and Scola hopefully for a new young PF.
Pretty sure you are wrong on that front.

Makes no sense to trade ross right now, value is at an alltime low, Was injured, and MU has said that he is part of his future plan.

This is just trading camp fodder

But if a trade is looming, it is more apt to be a demar trade than Ross

Mo Harkless couldnt get playing time on a much worse team in Orlando, even with the many injuries they had. In the limited minutes he did play he did not produce. Not to mention that a protected second round pick was the return they got for him.

I like harkless but don't see his fit.

Raps actually need depth at SG....with guards who can shoot.

Getting to the line isn't really that useful when every trip to the line is sandwiched between two bricked 20 footers.

              • If DD comes back playing like he did to close out the season. His worth 20 mil in the new cap.

When your top 10 in made and attempted free throw and its OK to mix it up here and there

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts...

If DeRozan had ever been able to come back playing like he had for his best two month stretch of the previous season, he would have many more fans here and might be worth considering paying that much. Sadly, he does not do that. Ever. It's the same story as his three pointer - he seems to improve, he even does improve, for short stretches or in specific situations, but it just never translates to long term success.

Agreed. Of course, here and there is not the same thing as being near the top of the league in midrange attempts in spite of missing 20 games and being by far the worst shooter among the top 10 in attempts from there (by about 5%).

Let's see. Lowry and JV come to mind. JV in particular.

You really don't think DD is going to have a good year in a contract year where his reportedly looking for 20+ mill. I'm under the believe this up coming year will be better than 13-14.

Yeah I just don't see him as part of a good team.

He's one of those guys that just holds teams back from reaching their full potential. Swap him out for a SG that doesn't chuck and the Raps are that much better.

Its not as easy as you make it sound. There is a reason why the list of top 10 in free throws made and attempted usually same people every year. Its a skill that our All-star excels at. What are Lowry and JV's free throw numbers anyway?
