  • Game #75 Lakers at (maybe more?) Raptors Tuesday April 2nd 7:00pm on TSN

Live look at the Sunday Republic Game thread

And so goes the fading embers of the 23/24 Raptors season.

Everything left is moving things by decimal points

The next relevant day on our calendar is May 12th.
    Draft Lottery day.
    Might have two lottery picks.
    Might have no lottery picks.
    Either way, we'll show up.

But the next day on the Raptors calendar is Tuesday
when they take on the Lakers of Los Angeles.

And I don't know if the Lakers made me think about California,
or if I just saw the list of the next games (Lakers, Wolves, Bucks)
but something made me think of this

Only a few games left in this cursed season, so
    ****SPOILER ALERT****
might be time to take this season down to the river and tell it about the rabbits.

Remember, as what seems like always these days,
a Laker win helps with the draft picks.

    Go Raps

If we have to win another game, beating the Lakers is always enjoyable.

Either way this one should be watchable at least.

      Here's my starting lineup guess.

      IQ
      Dick
      RJ
      Brown
      Olynyk

Lakers are fighting for their life,
they won't let this one slip.

        Good for us.

Lebron is using the Vince Carter method of extending your career. Hit three pointers. Over under for Lebron hitting 10 + threes? I will go for the over. Sorry I don’t make stupid bets. Odds of The Raps win are slim to none. The way Eday is playing does he go to Paris this Summer.? His game is perfect for the Olympics.

Huge win for the Raptors. Grizz squeak by the Pistons and now we have a 2 game cushion. Maybe now we can start putting some real NBA players into the game, make it somewhat watchable, without worrying about draft position.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

I'd say the game to circle on the calendar is Indiana. Go out guns blazing for that game and then book everyone flight to Cabo

Indy already has that game circled. Raps have beaten them twice, including the pizza party game. Raps gonna be taken to the woodshed for a whuppin methinks.

                  13 loses in a row!
Can't remember the last time that happened to the Raps

The Grizz finally won a game so we are allowed one win and still keep the 6th loser spot. Would be nice to take down Lebron and Davis.
                    Go Raps. Sort of.

With RJ & IQ back, we’re gonna mess up the tank. Darn.

Obviously Scottie is the biggest loss, but the Raptors without Poeltl this year are 2 wins, 22 losses.

                          Possible Lebronto throwback game.

Down 25 with 9:51 in the 4th. The tank is strong.
