The Clippers literally just beat Dallas without Kawhi in games 1 and 4. Both wins were without Kawhi. Both losses were with Kawhi. It looks like their chances are better with Kawhi out.

You seem to get it, but no one seems to acknowledge it. Pretty well all the commentary on the Mavs-Clips series has been finger-pointing at the Clips failures. The Mavs have become a really good, dangerous team since they addressed their weaknesses and picked up Washington and Gafford at the deadline. Maybe it was less the Clips losing the series and more the Mavs winning it.
