So we agree, the talent level is more important than the coaching.
And speaking of talent: look at the Knicks starting lineup. These are guys who have played more minutes off the bench, than as starters. There are really no legit starters there. Knicks shouldn't even be here. Imagine the excuses giving that lineup to Nurse? Heck, looking back, Nurse more talent than the Knicks did this year and he couldn't even make the playoffs.

Gobert gets pulled out of the paint every playoffs...
Nuggets are figuring out the Wolves. Whenever KAT is guarding Jokic, post up on the elbow, get into the middle, force Gobert to help a bit, dump off to Gordon in the dunker's spot.
Whenever Gobert is on Jokic. Start from the 3 point line and force Gobert to defend from there.

Sure, but the main conclusion is obviously that Carlisle and Thibs are both better coaches than Nurse, since they don't always need super-stacked teams.

Let's check the claim in bold.
Brunson, nope he started all year.
Hartenstein, nope he's been a full time starter since December.
DiVincenzo, nope he's been a full time starter since December
Hart, nope he's been a full time starter since January
Precious, finally, one guy who was a bench player but now has been forced to start due to injuries.
OG got hurt and the Knicks started losing.
Almost like once the talent level got reduced, the Knicks started losing. Like it's the talent that matters. Weird.

Ultimately, it seems like Nuggets suffered a bit of a post-Laker hangover, got surprised by the Wolves' defense, were scuffling with a banged up Murray and.... now they focused, made some tweaks, and Murray looks himself again.
Towns was also awful the last 2 games. Invisible in game 3 he clearly tried to force the issue in game 4 and fell flat on his face. Minny won't win if he doesn't find the right balance.
