Brunson & Knicks shouldn't even be here. He should've been easily shut down in round 1... they have no second option to guard. Thibs duct tape, chewing gum & rubber bands has got to break sometime. Maybe it did yesterday.
they are 2nd seed. Shouldn't be here?

If I told you 2 years ago that a Jalen Brunson led team with major injuries was going to be 2nd seed... you would've laughed.

They have lots of scoring options. Divincenzo has been a beast on offense. He was also a full time starter for the Bucks when they won the title, so don't give me any crap about him being a bench player.
OG and Hart are perfectly capable complimentary scorers.
If you wanna double Brunson those 3 guys will punish you.
Now that OG is out and replaced by the offensively inept Precious, Knicks are pretty thin.

Sorta like how Philly was thin starting an 87 year old Kyle Lowry.

Yeah, that whopping 3 playoff games and 2.7ppg scoring average that DDV put up in the playoffs for the Bucks. Then went back to being a 6-7th man/spot starter with the Warriors the very next season. DDV is basically like Trent. But that's also showing that, unlike Nurse, Bud is yet another coach who can win without super-stacked teams.

DDV is a lot better than Trent. You have said as much yourself many times here.

Sure, but he's still in the same tier as Trent: 6th man / spot starter when the team has no other options. Them's the facts.

He's proven himself to be a very solid starter on multiple playoff teams. A much better version of Trent would be a solid starter. Thems the facts.

                  • you needed a stacked team to win in 2019. Nowadays maybe you can get away with less.

In 2019, you also needed injuries to KD & Klay, with Lebronto out of the East.

yea Raptors weren't the most stacked team.

Minus Lebron, KD & some Klay, Raptors were definitely the most stacked team left standing. In hindsight, that's pretty clear.

After going through more stacked Philly and Bucks

The passage of time showed that Raps were more stacked than both those squads. Bucks were before Jrue with a young Giannis... and Simmons eventually showed his true colors (not a legit star).

Well if that's true then coaching doesn't matter after all
