Jesus. STOP. It's not mental fucking problem. It's Lebron James. Arguably best player of all time. Stop overrating Raps
Are you stunned? Indy lost their series by like 8 pts combined. EVERY TEAM IS THE ULTIMATE STRUGGLE FOR US.

horrible timing for lowry but if he's badly hurt i want no part of maxing him
I want no part of maxing him irregardless.

He's been breaking down EVERY year going into the Playoffs, he's on the wrong side of 30 and a part of a dying breed of small PGs.

Which still leaves another 12 seconds for Corey to dribble.

These Playoffs have just killed my faith in Lowry....he has been painfully average at best and most times just awful.
He's trying to get his points in though. for his max contract.

                What's your solution?

Paul George is about as close to an acquirable superstar as we're likely to see, and he fills numerous needs for us.

The other option rosterwise is to blow it up and admit that this core is never going to be good enough.
Blow up this core. Trade Lowry. Bring in another PG or draft one from this year. Bring in a new coach. And add a sports psychologist to the staff. Problem with this team is they got no fight, and they choke. PG played well against Lebron but chokes at the worst time and this has been consistent over the years. Unless there's another star equal to him on the team he will have the ball with 10 seconds left in the game and we're down by a point or 2. And he'll miss that 99 times out of 100. And we're back to the same old. Of having to blow things up.

That would be perhaps the dumbest idea ever....sounds like something our franchise would do.

Building around a post big man that is just too slow laterally defensively sounds like a "brilliant" plan moving forward in a league predicated on speed and 3 pt shooting.
so - who do you want to rebuild around - the "allstars", Bebe? Who Raps got - NOTHING! No coach, no ballers but ISO fuck-ups. This is a perfect game for the big blow up.

                    • People seem way too excited to "blow it up" and become new orleans. If you guys ran a country you would have nuked a million civilians 50 times already

We fans seem to be confident that the Raptors should be able to beat Cleveland, the problem is that the players don't believe that.
I think the more likely problem is that Toronto is outmatched at 4 of 5 positions.

Or become Minnesota where you just accumulate good but not transcendent talent. Back to square one again.

Lol. Trade Lowry? He's a free agent, genius.

                            • lowry bitching at JV to get up, but you can't do that if the rest of the team doesn't rotate. which we literally have never done right this season.

no, not tanking. at worst we'd be Atlanta. Masai will be getting back valuable assets. The team composition and chemistry needs to be changed. We keep this, it's going to be the same thing every single year.
