Paul George is about as close to an acquirable superstar as we're likely to see, and he fills numerous needs for us.

The other option rosterwise is to blow it up and admit that this core is never going to be good enough.

Blow up this core. Trade Lowry. Bring in another PG or draft one from this year. Bring in a new coach. And add a sports psychologist to the staff. Problem with this team is they got no fight, and they choke. PG played well against Lebron but chokes at the worst time and this has been consistent over the years. Unless there's another star equal to him on the team he will have the ball with 10 seconds left in the game and we're down by a point or 2. And he'll miss that 99 times out of 100. And we're back to the same old. Of having to blow things up.

Building around a post big man that is just too slow laterally defensively sounds like a "brilliant" plan moving forward in a league predicated on speed and 3 pt shooting.

We fans seem to be confident that the Raptors should be able to beat Cleveland, the problem is that the players don't believe that.

I think the more likely problem is that Toronto is outmatched at 4 of 5 positions.
