Months ago, it was pretty clear to me that our best lineup against Lebron would be KL/DD/CJ/OG/Ibaka (not applicable now), or KL/DD/CJ/OG/PS (applicable). (And the elephant in the room is that the best lineup now may actually be KL/Delon/CJ/OG/PS). Have either of these last two lineups seen the floor together at all this season, for even a minute? Malpractice on the part of the coaching staff, I tell ya."Stop eating your sushi."

When we go smaller, they eat us alive inside and on the glass. This is the problem with going small because of an overly fearful approach to shooters. If you go small, and the other team still has two guys (LeBron and Love) who are stronger than anyone you have on the court, what do you actually gain? They stop taking 35% 3s and start taking 65%(or higher) 2s.
Last game most of the scoring Love got on JV was JV sticking to him too much on the perimeter (probably the game plan) to make sure he couldn't get shots, and they ran plays to get Love cutting for layups. Love hasn't been very successful from 3 or in the post with JV on him. Apart from JV, only Ibaka and maybe Poeltl have enough strength/size to handle him in the post. He's not going to destroy you there unless you put someone too small/weak on him, which is literally something Casey has intentionally done in both games, and in both games coincided with Cleveland gaining momentum.
JV-Love hasn't been a matchup problem. Everything else about how we're handling Love and their role players has been a problem.

Literally zero minutes. It's classic Casey - there's a pretty obvious avenue for you to explore with your rotations, and you completely ignore it.

We blow these guys out today and take the next 2 in a row.

If Casey moves JV out of the starting line up; I might be straight up done."My biggest concern as a coach is to not confuse winning with progress." - Steve Kerr

LEGGOOOOOOOOOO POSITIVE POSTS
Reminder that the Cavs won by 44 in Boston last year to go up 2-0 and then lost game 3 at home.

Also a reminder that the Cavs went up 2-0 on the Raptors in 2016 before the Raptors won two straight to tie up the series.
Maybe we should slow down a bit.
