After 3 years of not playing at 37, he wasnt going to be the same him
But think he gave up potentially 3 years+ of being the best... 3 years is a long time... he could have won one or two more championships...
Anyway, any of you read Backpicks' GOAT list, he's got some interesting arguments.

Jordan Clarkson shoulder-charged lowry before hitting a 3 early in the game too, should we count that one also?
Like, it's the same fucking story in every single raptors playoff game. there are always at least 3 or 4 calls/non-calls that are just inexplicably bad against us.
The NBA is a fucking farce. This isn't even a sport anymore, it's as faked and rigged as the fucking WWE.
I don't even like hockey that much but NHL playoffs >>>>>> NBA playoffs. at least hockey teams both have a chance.

But Lebron has more seasons in the book at this extremely high level, and it's close enough in terms of skill once you take defense and playmaking into account that it might give him the edge.

Lebron had prime DWade for two championships and the one loss, and the rest of his finals appearances have been with pretty mediocre teams that he's dragged there by sheer force of will (and a not great Eastern Conference admittedly).
Also Lebron is as good as he's ever been at 33 which is incredible. 2018 Lebron is better than 2011 Lebron and I'm not sure how that's possible."We're playing in a building." -- Kawhi Leonard

S.R. wrote: View PostJordan was also eliminated in rounds 1-3 six times before he finally made a Finals. Lebron got to the Finals his second trip to the playoffs. Jordan never dragged teams to the Finals like Lebron does, he only got there with a great team (55 win team when he played baseball). Gotta count that in his 6-0.
