I rate him highly too. Still I see his limitations as something which will prevent him from being great and he's not worthy of #1.

What limitations? He has experience and has won in Europe.

There are 3 things that he does very well and can translate (usually superstars have this ability):
1. He has great courtvision.
2. He can create his own shot.
3. He has a solid shooting mechanics.

If you have at least two of the above, you're a sure fire future all-star. I would rate his defense below average - especially if the team makes him play PG. But at the same time, hes flexible enough to play 3to4 positions.
