I think Dwane Casey without DeRozan can be better
I started to lean that way during the playoffs as I had previously thought the reverse.

You keep citing the 2004 Pistons, without admitting what a massive outlier they are.

That's the only team in 30 years to win a title without a past, present or future MVP.
While I agree with the point, you need to double check your facts dude. This is like the third false statement you've made in the last few days.

The '89 and '90 Pistons also share the same distinction of not having a past or future mvp.

Which still makes me, sort of, technically correct. All of those titles were won by the same team, the Pistons.

I think so because we routinely see the ball movement pick up when DD is off the floor

And you all know my opinion on Casey

this is pretty incredible. in 5 years the entire league has shuffled coaches more than twice.

Looks like players aren't the only ones whom like to be part of winning programs.

Another case of American media spinning toronto as a stepping stone to better places. Why leave assistant coach in a great situation to go be assistant coach in an unknown? If he wants a head coaching look he's just as well to stay here and keep working.

                              • I think Casey is on the right path. I did see improvement over the course of the year. If he keeps to his word about including JV more in the offense and ups his minutes to 32 - 35, with a healthy DeMarre Carrol he could hit 60 wins next year, depending on what other teams do
