For a compare Ryan Anderson got 20M and Chandler Parsons got 23.
Thats with the cap at 94. Next year its going up again. To 102.
Pat makes 6.
Not likely he takes a pay cut.
More likely he makes north of 20.

And as valuable as Pat is, "starters" have more value than "bench players" on the market. Hence him not starting being a value suppression tactic. Or at least, value suppression being an effect of him not starting.

Heck, judging by the deal JV signed, he wasn't chomping at the bit to be a primary option and placed his own value far below where some (including me) would place it.

But
There are going to be a few teams with gobs of space again next year to carry on the tradition. Philly / LA / Heat / Knicks / Nets come to mind right off the top....
Regardless the likelihood of lots of dead presidents coming PPats way is pretty good.Last edited by Demographic Shift; Thu Jul 14, 2016, 05:05 PM.There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Plenty of broadcasters speculated that biz would get 18-20m during the playoffs. 15m was considered hometown discount. Some people here said 10-12m but it was wishful thinking, not reflective of market value.
Mozgov got 16m, no way Pat gets 11m. Anyone that thinks Pat can start will pay him 16m and it only takes a netsy team to offer more.
