  • Cleveland at Philly on Friday is going to be such a big match up for us. It'll settle the tie breaker between the two of them. Cleveland will be on a back 2 back as they play Washington on Thursday night though. And Philly will be at home.

Philly has a super soft schedule as well. Outside of that Cleveland match up they play Dallas, Atlanta and Milwaukee. Only that Hawks game is on the road. Although that Milwaukee game is the second night of a B2B.

Cleveland has Washington in Washington, Philly in Philly and NY twice on a home and home (with a day break between the two). Could see Lebron resting for that last game as well.

My gut is feeling Philly in 3rd and Cleveland in 4th. Which is great since we now have the #1 seed pretty much locked up now.

In order to play in round 2..you gotta get out of round 1..

The NewLooks if they “stay down” and finish 4..will draw the Pacers. If they are too smart by half and the Pacers win out..the NewLooks start the playoffs on the road as Indy has the tiebreaker.

The MSM falls in love with teams and right now they just love the Hinkies...who are on a 12 game run...but peel it back a little and like we have been pointing out..they have been beating the tankers and blind sisters of the poor.

Indy..has been beating playoff teams or teams out west who are in a life and death position every night just to get to the playoffs. And they are winning on the road.... This is a good team. Well coached and hungry. If we think the Raps get no publicity these guys have been well under the radar all year.

But not the Cavs radar...Have to think that the NewLooks would rather play one of the Heat or Bucks or Harry Potters rather than a really good and tested Pacer squad that's beat them 3 outta 4 and is ready for the playoffs.
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

                • So the Cavs/Sixers game will be the 2nd game of a back to back for the Cavs. A game tgat the Cavs absolutely need to win and LeBron might not even play.

                      • Kyrie is like the Anthony Davis of point guards. Has he ever had a healthy season?

                          • I can see it all now: Cleveland rests players on Friday, Philly beats them and grabs the 3 seed. We lose to Cleveland in the second round while Philly runs through Miami and the decimated Celtics to make the conference finals. Despite then being swept by the Cavs, we have to endure endless talk throughout the playoffs and offseason about how this proves the Sixers are so much better than we are and how we're now the 4th or 5th best team in the East

Why would Cleveland not be jumping for joy at the opportunity of playing an injury riddled Celtics team in the semis?

Well, there goes Boston's playoff hopes.

Man, if Kyrie and Hayward can't return to form after their injuries it's going to set Boston back for years. Not as bad as when Oden and Roy went down in Portland, but it's a huge blow to their future plans.
