DeMar came out a little bit too aggressive and not passing. But he settled down and moved the ball, which opened things up for him later and got his teammates comfortable. Also tried to play a bit of defense and even though he fouled guys, the effort was there. PJ and Ibaka's defensive energy was clearly infectious. Nice bounce back game from DD.

It was one of those games for me where Matt would say, demar with 28 now, and I'd be like, really? then it was 39, and I was like, when did that happen? lol I guess I'm starting to take his play a bit for granted as well, but Tucker and Ibaka were dominating my attention, and I was more focused on the D.

Yeah, I was thinking if I saw norm finish at the rim through contact like DD tonight i'd be posting some norm god comments, so we do take dd for granted.
That said, the 1st qt was a disaster (except Ibaka and JV). That put a DD stop sign in my head until the 4th.

Demar has been awesome the last few games but we've all seen what happens when one of our two alpha dogs go down. The other one, takes on a huge load, often does great but then wears out. How can we keep this from happening to demar? I think Casey is going to have to make a conscious choice to force feed Powell minutes in order to get Demar at least 10-12 minutes rest per game. It's not like Demar plays low usage minutes.
