Really? Yeah, the producer from Open Gym announced he was leaving the other day too. A lot of people announcing changes this close to the start of season is a bit weird. Maybe that’s just when contacts end. Hopefully not. Would be looking forward to something new

They get blake for the writing, Will with social media/podcast and Open gym dude working the camera/producing. They could make some great content really focused more at hardcore fans like us here. Rather then the casual who read papers/ more invested in the leafs.

Meanwhile we have 3 allstar level guys in their prime (Fred, OG, Pascal). And a roster around them that is young but should be highly competitive. The cupboard is so far from bare it's remarkable. We are being talked about as one of the young teams to watch - both on the court, and in terms of building the right way.
We came off a championship and many years of contention and yet we are still asset-rich. Not all teams fare quite so well.

I seriously don't understand how we still have fans bitching about letting Gasol and Ibaka go. We dodged a bullet guys, and you're wishing we had taken that bullet.
Yeah. That is the thing I was ok with paying ibaka for ONE year. Or Gasol for ONE YEAR. Gasol was washed in our playoff run through. Like really washed.
I have said it before and I will repeat it here. Having a lot of play off runs in a row really beats away at a team.

Hope they get lucky like Bill Simmons....
Grantland was really good."We're playing in a building." -- Kawhi Leonard

I don’t get why the Raptors are still getting brought up with the Simmons talk. Like I can’t see OG or Barnes getting traded, trading Siakam for him would not make me happy and trading Fred and pieces for him would leave us with the weirdest roster construction of all time
Plus surely another team would have a more appealing package? Like Minnesota or Sacramento or whoever? The name's Bond, James Bond.
