Yes you are not wrong. He was completely dominant despite a back injury and cancer. He came back at age 37 after cancer treatment and dominated the league again. He was head and shoulders above everyone else. Mcdavid is the best player in the world today but he doesn't lap the competition like Lemieux and Gretzky
