Didn't Boston trade for KG and Allen? How can it be colluding if they were traded and didn't sign in free agency?
Boston is unquie where it wasn't the players tampering.. It was Kevin mchale, handing his old team a superstar on a platter. Something way more greasy then what any player has ever done and it doesn't really get talked about.
To be the champs you got to beat the champs

Yes they were traded, so were Bosh and Lebron to Miami. They forced their way there after deciding together they were all gonna play in Boston, same exact thing as Miami super team. So yes they collluded to all play together and forced it to happen.

Free agency without trades isn't really a thing anymore. It's all sign and trades and has been for a long time.

      • It would be interesting and very very difficult to close a deal for Masai with OG going the other way. How desperate they are in getting a bonafide Center like Ayton or even Gobert, we will know soon.

          But why, though?
Tim L was arrogant and condescending
          - 100%... Just like a lot of posters here including yours truly.

Like there was only 1 path to a chip and it was his way.
          - There are always a wide range of outcomes that are possible ....and again ....just like a lot of posters here including yours truly want the Raps to proceed our way. ( I am a "we need an above average centre bigot.")

Everybody else was a moron, in his eyes. No reason to cut people like that any slack… ever.
          - He was passionate about the tank for sure. With 6 or 7 years of hindsight its clear he chose the wrong strategy. He was a die hard raps fan. Seeing Wiggins up his game and really help win a chip after just floundering in Minny for so long made me think of the Tank for Wiggins wars. After that long... maybe just a little slack ?
          Stay well.. go raps.
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

The biggest issue with Tim was he was a total douchebag in the comment sections of every article on the site for like 2 years straight. Everyone in the forums has a lot more nuance, and even the most annoying poster in here is 1000X more enjoyable to engage with than Tim was. I think everyone thoroughly enjoys how wrong he was. He totally disappeared when we traded for Kawhi and won the chip.

            • The season over and I doubt their parade is half as fun as ours was with drunken Gasol!
Let's get the draft going so the debate can begin.

Davis & Lillard ahead of him while Draymond is somewhere wedged between Beal & Middleton.

Dray had to be drafted to the right team, other teams may have not realized what his best strengths were & how to utilize him properly.

Hope the Raptors find this kind of a steal where they are picking on Thursday.

He was lucky he landed in Golden State.
I doubt he'd be as successful in other teams and systems.

Draymond's best strengths are dribble hand-offs to Steph Curry and screening for Klay. Had to be drafted to the right team, for sure.

That's why if a team has a good system & you find that player that can do 2 or 3 things well that enhance that system, you really found a jam.

This is part of the reason why the Raptors traded for Thad. Maybe if Thad sticks around & becomes more acclimated to his team we might get much more of him.

is shit talk from kyle kuzma supposed to be some sort of proof that that draymond's biggest strength is his ability to complete DHO's with steph?

personally i'd say his biggest strengths are preternatural basketball IQ and competitiveness, which has allowed him to dominate defensively despite being an underwhelming athlete as well as offensively despite not really having any natural scoring ability to speak of.

what happens after those DHO's anyway? more often than not steph gets doubled and flips it to draymond to start a 4 on 3 that ends in a layup or lob and has been one of the most devastating offenses the league's ever seen. it's a direct result of both steph's gravity and draymond's ability to read the floor.

their team craters on both sides of the ball whenever he's out and it's been that way since steve kerr took the reigns. he's the second most essential player of a dynastic team and future hall of famer. you don't get there if all you can do is DHO and set screens.

agree with you that he's playing on the right team and in the right system. but you can say that for the majority of hall of fame players.

Lol. Draymond burner account on RR? He’s Ringo, man. If Thad Young ended up on the Warriors, he’d have 4 rings too.

And for all his DPOY-ness, Draymond wasn’t even the main defender for Lebron… that was Iggy.
