JV is not going to be a super star.. but he's going to have a very nice career. What impressed me most about his play in the world cup is that he kept is fouls and turnovers in check. If he does that in the NBA, Casey will continue to give him minutes. And with more minutes he'll get even more confidence.

The C spot is the hardest to fill. It is why a guy like splitter makes $10m per year.
JV is 22 with a lot of room to grow in the most difficult position to fill. Boo-urns I say!

According to SI he is already ranked 80th best in the league:

* Amir is ranked 71st, and DD ranked 61st.. Lowry potentially in top 50?

And holy fuck, you'd think someone who was willing to wait 5 years for DeMar to become what he is, when he showed way less signs of promise than Jonas has, would have some patience and sense of foresight.

Jonas
1st year: ORTG 113, DRTG 106, OWS 2.5, DWS 1.5
2nd year: ORTG 112, DRTG 104, OWS 3.5, DWS 3.2
DeMar has never, not in 5 years, put up as high an ORTG, or as low a DRTG as Jonas has in either of his 2 seasons. His best year for both was last year at 110 and 107 respectively for O and D.
And for WS and looking at highs for each guy, DeMar has only once gone over 3.5 OWS, and that was last year at 5.8. And he has never put up a better DWS than the 3.2 Jonas did last year (DeMar's high was 3.0 and also last year).
Now, they play totally different positions, but again, I don't know how someone can have so much patience and blind faith in DeMar but constantly shit on Jonas.
