BTW Gibson is a lot better than McBob
BTW, no one said otherwise. It's the cost to acquire Gibson vs McBob as reasoning.

Legend has it if you say Taj Gibson enough times he will magically appear on your team.
Does that work for any player?

        You post that ALOT.

        But it is untrue.
Heh, I don't get why "Ross is done" either. Ross is proving to not be the starter they hoped for, but on his contract and at his age he's a perfectly serviceable bench player, which is what he became as soon as they acquired Carrole. Nothing wrong with a backup 2/3 with range.

        • Just throwing this out there: what if they take a run at Taj Gibson?

          • Ross is a freak athlete who shoots threes. I'm fine with that coming off the bench.

            • Sacramento signs Marco Bellinelli for $19m/three years.

People struggle to reframe their expectations for a player. If Ross was drafted 20th, he'd be amazing value but since he was drafted 8th (and ahead of Drummond), people can't accept anything less than starter output.

Heck, if Bargnani was drafted in the teens, he might still be here. It was what Bargnani represented that really turned the fan base against him.

I think he would be a fantastic fit at pf personally.

                      • Tbh, Marco at 6 mil a year isn't too terrible considering other contracts so far this summer. They needed shooting, and he's coming from the Spurs, so maybe it helps their locker room a little bit too.

It just looks bad in the general picture that they gave up Stauskas, a first round pick and potentially another two first round pick swaps to clear all the cap space. After sacrificing that much, they need to do something much bigger than this.

I don't know. The fans support every move yet there track record is terrible. Who is even making the decisions for them? Vlade? Vivek?
