I was reading something the other day by a guy who claimed to be a doctor.. May be an arm chair doc so take it with a grain of salt. Basically he said that they type of knee brace that Embiid is wearing is only used for Chronic arthritis is the knees. If thats the case its a chronic injury which will not heal but can only be managed to reduce pain. The way he has been playing in the playoffs something is visibily wrong. He is reluctant to bang in the post and is settling for alot of jumpers. Althought sixers are a division rival and will be a force for years to come i would hate for this to be the case. A young promising player with potential to be one of the greatest bigs off all time you would hate to see something like that not let him reach his potential.

Naah. At least Embiid has already has had a career. Oden never even got a chance to really play in the NBA. Joel will still probably have a solid career if this is long term chronic injury all-star type player but he wouldn't be able to reach his potential of being an all time great big. More like Yao Ming if this is a real thing.

Its going to free up the ball up for Simmons and Butler and Harris on the offensive end... but Philly is going to get torched inside and on the glass..
If Brooklyn gets some big separation as the game winds down... watch Jimmy Butlers body language and demeanour....If he looks like he is getting frustrated this isn't going to be good for the Hinkies.Last edited by Demographic Shift; Thu Apr 18, 2019, 08:20 PM.There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

What's with the play-by-play guy talking about the number of Philly's starting line-ups this season. He comments that the number of variations is "by far the most of any play-off team". He's mentioned it at least twice if not three times. Maybe he thinking South of the Border.
Also Carroll and Joe Harris are throwing up bricks and Tobias and Redden are hot. Nets have big comeback in 4th. Boban is a load.Last edited by Zak24gege; Thu Apr 18, 2019, 10:04 PM.
