31 pick is not a useless pick. It's pretty close to first round. Tier of players is similar. Anything past 40 i'm ok taking gamble on.

And this is not me talking about where to draft Edey. But I don't agree that early 2nd rounder is some useless asset where you can just throw it away.

He’s played plenty of minutes and would have gotten a lot more if he wasn’t already 30 after his first three seasons. Most second rounders don’t play single, full season (80 games).
