If what you got from last night’s game is that we will never play that good again and thus this series is over, I have no idea what team you’ve been watching all year. This is going to be a close series, the game one hot takes are hilarious.
There certainly are some bipolar fans around here. It's a roller coaster every shot. As we saw in game seven there's no putting out the fire so don't bother. The boys need to win a game and then the world will stop ending... For a few days.

Does Nurse's refusal to play Mccaw or anyone else off the bench over FVV speak to his lack of faith in the bench or the absolute shittiness of the bench? Or both?
I think McCaw was out for personal reasons tonight.

Milwaukee shooting poorly had a lot to do with the defense they were facing. American analysts seem to be missing this.

There are a lot of positive take aways from that game.

Kyle waking up is GIGANTIC if he can keep it going.

Defense was great for most of the game. They have a shot to steal game two or five in Milwaukee. They proved that last night.

Came here just to post the above, then later went back to read some of the other posts and was stunned to notice I said the same thing claw reborn said. So I feel kinda dirty, but that's the truth. Nurse looking like a big liability now. Basically did a "reverse adjustment". Had everything working well in the first half, had a healthy road lead, then said, "hey, we gotta 'adjust' here, time to 'take a look' at my 3 guard lineup here". Bucks instantly ties the game. Please Nurse don't do that to us again.

This game was there for the taking, sustained a roughly 8pt lead up for almost the whole game, until Nurse decides to go AWAY from what's working and roll a Lowry-Fred- norm lineup. The lead instantly evaporates, Bucks regain momentum, crowd gets into and we never get back. That lineup has done nothing for us the whole playoffs, but he keeps going back to it and pissing away leads.

Also ran stretches with both Lowry and kawhi sitting.

this is a great team, they're very talented, play great defence, play with heart, and fit well together. But we got a bad coach here folks, there's no way around it. We got this far despite of Nurse, not because him. I just wish he stopped tinkering and stick to what's working. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Silver lining is that this game confirms the bucks defence allow a lot of shots. Lets regroup and try to steal the next one

Okay, that ending fucking sucked, but it doesn’t change what we have to do which is get a split in Milwaukee. Win Game 2 and everybody is feeling a lot better heading home

Just need to rebound the ball and for every starter except Lowry to shoot a bit better lol

Fuck nick nurse running Kyle fred and norm to start the 4th, dumbest fucking thing ever. I was already pissed when he had fred in over norm let alone the fact that you should never NEVER even have more then one of them on the court at the same time. Same coaching mistakes that allowed philly to go 7. It's even weirder that he seemed to figure it out towards the end of last series but than reverted back to it in game one of this series.
I nearly broke the tv when I saw this shit.

Raptors weathered the storm early first, in the second quarter and early third when Bucks tried to come back. How many times a visiting team can do that against a talented well coach team?

Yet there was that moment when a coaching mistake happened and that momentum shifted in favor of the home team.

What a herculean effort by Kyle but those shots may not come around next time. Those are positives above the norm and we still lose.

Blaming missed shots by Danny and Marc during desperation time is just finding fault and turning a blind eye to what is always ailing this team in losses.

Consistency from coaching is what we need. Like beating a deadhorse....stop going back to failed experiments
    The start of the 4Q?

Funny that a poster will just say that we started this series with a 50/50 chance to win it but would never admit that maybe just maybe Nick Nurse is dragging this team down and not being able to achieve its full potential.

Bucks couldn't hit a 3 until 4Q. We shot great (Raptor standards) and had 7 point lead going into 4th and other than Kyle we go 0 - 15 in 4th. Missed shots means guys are tired. Green and Gasol are MIA again. Bucks won that game coming from behind. We are done.
Green I dont know he's been off.

Gasol is just tired now. Nurse played him hard the last few games with Embiid mins went up. At 34 years old, he cant play moe than 34-35 mins. Ibaka has only 17 mins, he could easily play close to 30 mins or even more... he really needs to rotate in there and give Siakam and Gasol a few more mins of rest.

OG is out or else he could give Kawhi even 4-5 mins extra rest. He's not coming back so we gotta deal with it. I would take Kawhi out when Giannis rests.

McCaw needs to see some mins, even one shift to give some guys rest. Even Meeks, give him even 4-5 mins so someone can rest and Meeks is dangerous from 3... he's a bit of a defensive liability but you bring him in when Green needs rest.

Anyways Nurse cant ride the guys this hard anymore... he needs to find a way to give guys rest... they cant play 40+ mins anymore.
