Fred only started the second half of games towards the end of the GSW series, i.e., he was a backup in like 90% of the games. He was virtually unplayable against Philly and half of the Bucks series.Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

It's not because of Green we made it past Philly.

Can't really look at offense, because the only guy who was scoring on the Sixers was Kawhi. Defensively, Green was a much better matchup vs. Philly. FVV didn't have anybody to guard. Even in the Magic series, neither Lowry nor FVV could stop DJ Augustin, lol.... so Nurse made Green the primary defender and that was that. Defense wins championships.... right?Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

Fred was effective against the Warriors in the series that mattered the most.

Oh so you are back on defense wins championships?
Suns are an example of 1 alpha scorer (Booker) who is a poor defender + 4 good defenders.

lol. That was for you. The 2019 Raptors team was an underrated defensive juggernaut. But we still needed that alpha scorer to get buckets when everybody else was scared. Fortunately, even that alpha was a former DPOY, so we could roll out 5 good-to-great defenders.
