I think it was just a general media availability. He commented on Houston and said he didn't work out for them. He also praised Kyle Lowry... I think he's really pushing to go to the Raptors.

No, I just meant what OKC is building there with Shai, Dort, and rumoured to draft Bouknight, who has similar game and physical features as Shai (though obviously a gamble, like most rookies)

I want to keep the 4th, but if we were to somehow get GSW's 7th, that's the player I'd try to draft with it.

My guess is both he and Mobley are pushing for the Raptors.

While it would be easy to make a crack at the Cavs (or Rockets to a lesser extent) here, I think it's also genuinely related to the development Toronto has and the fact that it is such a winning franchise. I think you'd probably be hearing the same from Cade or Green if directly asked for a preference among the top 4 ignoring draft position.

I really like this quote more than most since it just goes to show how much better the reputation of the G League has gotten. Like I have bought a LOT of tickets to watch the 905ers play so I admittingly have bias there but having them be so close to the main club really does allow players to really get that much more direct experience playing at a higher level. There are quite a few examples of players even playing in a 905 game and a Raptors game on the same day.

I know it is usually a BPA attitude when it comes to the draft, but I think it's funny that after Detroit, the teams picking from 2-4 are not there because they were short on guards. I think that could play a big role on draft night.

Honestly for me, it says the opposite.

It says he wants to get as many reps as he can get in whether it's in the NBA or in the G League and that he's willing to play wherever he's told.

To me; that's a fantastic attitude to come into the league having.

Absolutely... I love Suggs attitude. It shows that he'll do whatever it takes to get better, regardless of how "it looks".

But top 5 picks generally don't see G-League time unless they aren't panning out as expected, or recovering from injury. Are there any examples of otherwise?
